These squeezy, slow-rising plushie pals are the perfect stress balls. The toys are made of memory foam that resumes its shape no matter how hard you pull, squeeze or twist them. The soft fabric is really nice to touch, and because they’re plush toys they’re not going to burst or have chunks ripped out of them (should you get the urge to sink your teeth in).
 
Stress balls utilize the muscles that are connected to nerves that head up to the brain in the limbic region which is your emotional area of the brain, alleviating stress levels. It’s a tool that can help children (and adults) learn to self-regulate, manage everyday tensions, concentrate, and cut away the clutter of noise and overstimulation.
 
Pick-ups
Contact me to arrange a time if you’d like to come and collect anything – you’re more than welcome to! (I live in Brooklyn, Wellington).  The best times for pick-ups are before 2pm, or after 4pm on weekdays (though times can differ in the school holidays).
